For Saima and Attzaz, chai has always been part of life. Rooted in their South Asian heritage, it was something they grew up with and later made for their own family and friends - a familiar ritual of brewing, sharing, and spending time together. But when they looked for an easier way to enjoy the chai they loved, they were disappointed by what they found. Nothing quite captured the rich, aromatic flavour of chai made properly at home.
That love of chai, combined with a desire to make the process simpler, led them to create Three Legends Chai, with a simple mission: to make it easy for anyone to enjoy an authentic cup of chai at home, without compromising on flavour or the traditions that inspired it.
After extensive experimentation with teas, spices, ratios, and brewing methods, Saima and Attzaz carefully developed three distinctive blends, each rooted in their history and life together.
Being mindful about how Three Legends was made was just as important as what went into it. Their chais are made with real tea, spices, and all-natural ingredients, so they wanted the packaging around them to be considered too - choosing recyclable packaging and biodegradable pyramid bags wherever possible. Each bag contains the carefully balanced ingredients needed for a proper cup of chai, ready to brew at home without the measuring, grinding, or mess.
The ritual remains - the chai bag just makes it easier.
Since launching Three Legends Chai, Saima and Attzaz have loved introducing people to their blends at markets, events, and tastings, where sharing a cup of chai and seeing someone’s reaction for the first time remains one of their favourite parts of the journey. Now, they are on a mission to change people’s expectations of chai - encouraging more cafés to embrace freshly brewed chai, while showing people at home that spending just a few extra minutes preparing a proper cup can make all the difference.
At the heart of Three Legends Chai is something very simple - great chai is meant to be shared, and Saima and Attzaz hope to share a lot more of it.
