FIRST CERTIFICATE AWARDED

The first recipient was Patricia Ingeman, a twenty year old tea enthusiast and waitress from Copenhagen who is taking a sabbatical before starting at Hospitality College in August. Patricia’s ambition is to own a hotel or restaurant, so it is appropriate that she is our first successful student as she is exactly the kind of person that the Introduction to Tea module is aimed at. Patricia has always loved tea, ever since she used to drink it at her grandparents house when she was a small girl. Her favourite tea is Chinese green and she has a special interest in the chemistry of tea. She is a member of the Danish chapter, and plans to volunteer to help ESTA in Denmark as well as progressing through the Tea Certification Programme by taking some of the other modules as they become available.
