NEW ESTA BLOGGER

About Kimberley;

I started my blog around 2014 and have continued to build upon it since.  It has enabled me to build a fantastic community on my own little corner of the internet that I am incredibly thankful for. I also do freelance writing and photography creating  content for a few different tea companies that many of you reading might be familiar with.

Since this is the first time many of you reading may be being introduce to me here a little bit of information about me including many of my hobbies and interests;

I simply love to learn and thrive when I am put into a learning environment that I have control over. I am currently not only focusing on learning about tea and the industry but I am also currently learning Japanese.

 Given the opportunity, I love to read. Most of my current collection is unsurprisingly made up of books about tea and I constantly aim to add more books to that ever growing collection.  I love to gain knowledge and use that knowledge to help others learn which is one of the reason I started my blog many moons a go.

Currently I am focusing on  learning more about tea history and tradition, for example, the Japanese tea ceremony and I am aiming to start doing classes under the urasenke school of tea in the future.

I adore creative arts and while most of my passion lies within the world of photography, when I get the chance I love to paint and thrive when I can combine my love for tea with my passion for the arts.

I am not only interested in Japanese tea but in fact, have a huge appreciation for Japan as a whole hence why I am learning the language, immersing myself within the culture, learning about the traditions both centred around tea and outside of that, the geography, history and much more.

I plan to visit one day should I be lucky enough so I can experience

it all for myself rather than just through a screen. As a huge movie and

documentary fan, I would love to be able to create a documentary / short

film around my visit highlighting all aspects of Japan and how important it is to appreciate other cultures around the world while still respecting them and not appropriating them.
