Who are you, where do you live?

My name is Oscar Woolley, a Dad, a scribbler and a tea-lover.

I grew up in Nottingham and now reside in Belfast with my family.

What is your connection with tea or earliest memory of appreciating tea?

I made tea for my family and our visitors from a copper kettle on a stove at a very early age.

From the age of 5-9 I collected children’s teacups, they’re currently on display in our factory.

Do you have a tea company, (what kind) and/or academy?

SUKI Tea Makers supplies specialty tea and kit to the HoReCa industry as well as home consumers via www.suki-tea.com across Europe and beyond.

We run ESTA courses from Belfast but can also travel to London, Dublin and Glasgow. We have been teaching tea courses for 15 years.

What do you love about tea?

The ritual, the variety, and the friendships it supports and creates.  We love adventure and our goals demand journeys into the unknown. Suki is now being sold in over 20 countries, these connections  bring richness and diversity to our daily lives.

What would you like to see in the future of the tea world, give us your dreams.

I would love to see the hospitality industry embracing tea as they have coffee as to elevate the consumer experience. No one is serving instant coffee!
