Holly “Wren” Angela-Lu
Currently team member of Seven Cups Teahouse in Tucson, Arizone, U.S.A
Approaching specialty tea after growing up inTaiwan, where tea is woven into the backdrop of life, Wren is honored to taste teas formerly known only by name and reputation, and delve a little deeper into the endless world of tea every day.
Her goal is to share this feeling with others through appreciation of tea and understanding of what draws us to it—from rare yancha to black teabags and honey.
From a moment of respite to a boost of energy, tea brings us together across peoples and cultures in a way unique from other beverages; some things are meant to be shared—tea is one of them.
More than ever, people are looking for something more than just nondescript green tea or black tea when they shop, and organizations like the ESTA move us towards a world where those taking their first steps into the world of specialty tea can find quality tea and reliable information.
