We have been sourcing tea since 2006.  Back then we had a café in York and couldn’t find decent teas to serve, so through personal connections we went over to China, met with some tea producers and began sourcing directly from tea gardens.  From this range of single-estate Chinese teas, LuLin Teas was born and our tea journey really began…

We have spent the last 15 years living and breathing tea, and growing from “simply” sourcing single-estate Chinese teas, to sourcing directly from incredible artisan producers from around the globe, amassing a wealth of tea knowledge and experience, blending unique natural teas and manufacturing bio teabags from our Urban Tea Factory in London.

As a brand the focus of LuLin Teas is on single-estate and unique, high-quality natural blends, with a further focus on sustainably, and using compostable and bio packaging wherever possible.  Everyone should get to experience the best possible tea, without it costing the earth (literally and figuratively).

We are in the process of launching De TheeFaktorie brand in Europe, with a shop and HQ in Antwerp, Belgium, to meet the challenges and demands of our European clients in the post-Brexit environment. 

As a company we also produce private label, co-branded products and full tea solutions for any sector with unrivalled flexibility.  Producing “Designer Blends” for our clients is a passion, meeting the needs, whether the need is taste, functionality, season etc.
