WAGMI COFFEE opened in Limassol, Cyprus, in 2022. We source green coffee directly from farmers and roast it on one of the most modern machines, the Loring Roaster. We also work with farmers who grow tea, offering our guests a unique and flavorful experience. Our founder, Olga Melik-Karakozova, has twenty years of experience in specialty coffee, having been a barista, roaster, and green coffee importer. Our tea expert, Dmitry Sobolev, has extensive experience with specialty tea and has curated a comprehensive tea menu for our guests.
In Cyprus, it is not customary to drink tea, but by offering our guests an excellent selection, we have managed to pique their interest. More and more locals are returning to us for a cup of tea. This market has proven to be interesting and exciting.
In just two years, we have hosted the national Aeropress championship twice. We have started working as suppliers of coffee and tea in the EU market and Israel. Constantly developing and implementing new technologies, we use Poursteady for preparing pour-over coffee and tea. We also have Hardtank, which allows us to brew cold brew in a very short time, both for coffee and tea. We keep up with coffee and tea trends but stay true by cooperating with farmers.
We have already begun training and consulting for coffee shops in Cyprus. We believe this is a crucial step in forming a community, supporting farmers, and advancing specialty coffee and tea. By sharing our expertise and passion, we aim to elevate the standards of the local coffee and tea scene, fostering a culture of quality and sustainability.
